I already had a total fan-girl post a couple weeks ago that gave all the little details about the book: Shatter Me Post. It includes the synopsis, trailer, and I even included a link to a sound clip where you can learn how to say Tahereh! All that post was missing was the cover, and now we have it!
Here it is:
Me....well, I think I like it. I'm not sure yet. There are some aspects I really love, like the shatters behind her and the font of Tahereh's name. I think I will wait until I see it in person to say whether or not I love it. Perhaps I was expecting a more ambiguous and darker cover? Either way, I still want to read it more than any other book out there!!
I love it! I think it's awesome and would really stand out on a shelf.
ReplyDeleteAhh, it's awesome! I'm really excited about this book!
ReplyDeleteI really like the 'shattered' aspect of this cover but the girl and her dress do nothing for me. It sounds an awesome book though so I wont let the cover put me off.
ReplyDeleteI like this cover a lot and I think the technique they used makes it pop more. BUT I kind of feel like it could be more. I don't know what exactly, but it's like something is just missing. Maybe it's one that I think shouldn't have a real person on the cover. I don't know. But it's very pretty and will look good on the shelf so I'm not complaining!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking the same thing, you guys! I love the light effect that they used, but I'm underwhelmed with the use of a real person on the cover. I kind of want it to be a bit more mysterious. It's growing on me, though!
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty but I wish it were somehow Stronger!
