I had an exciting week! I actually got something "in my mailbox"! I bought a few books too. I can't resist Powells bookstore. :)
I won a book from Electrifying Reviews and it came this week. Yay! I won a signed copy of Angelfire. I can't wait to read it! I'm pretty excited about having a signed copy of this book. I also got some swag with it - a signed bookmark for A Touch Mortal, a signed bookmark for Sweet Venom, an Angelfire sticker and a bunch of Angelfire bookmarks. Woo-hoo for free stuff!
Thanks Alex! Here is Alex's blog (visit it! It's awesome!): Electrifying Reviews
I got a couple of books for review this week from NetGalley (Yay!):
This one looks so cute!
I also got Wings for free for my kindle this week (I know lots of you probably did too):
You can find it for free for the kindle HERE
I have been wanting to read this for a long time. I'm excited it was free!
I also bought a few books this week:
I love the cover! I'm really looking forward to seeing where this story is going to go.
This one is really pretty in person. It has a foil type look to it.
I hope this one is as good I've heard! I could use a good, steamy book. :)
I loved Wings and hope you'll enjoy it too :) and congrats on the cool swag and Angelfire!
ReplyDeleteI read Wings and If I Stay. If you loved The Forest of Hands and Teeth, you'll love If I Stay. It has the same drama level!

Hi Jennifer! This is a reply on the nice comment on my IMM:
ReplyDeleteOh cool! I'm showing up to the wednesday event too! I'm there to see Holly Black and get Red Glove but I'm wondering how the signing event will work for Cassie. Do I have to buy the book there to get it signed?
Oh I'm so jealous of the signed Angelfire, it was a great book I can't wait for book 2.
ReplyDeleteIt is awesome that we are one the same IMM # post :)
I have only been to the Powell's locations once and I loved it, I know what you mean about bookstores they are so hard to resist. If you ever come up north let me know and Ill take you on a Half Price Book tour to at least 4 locations :)
Wow, you've had some awesome books this week. I have Maggie Blair to read and review this week too. Aww I do love the look of Bless This Mouse. I love animal stories - especially when it's the animals themselves that are telling it. If you like that kind of thing too, you'll probably love The Familiars by Adam Epstein (I reviewed it sometime Oct/Nov last year).
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy all your books. They look amazing!
I can't wait to read Angelfire !! I hope you'll like it !! Happy reading ;)
ReplyDeleteI went and checked out the game days, I could so totally do either Tuesday or Wednesday those are my days off. I usually put aside 5-6 hours or so for the 4 locations, especially for newbie Half Price Book shoppers that love books (but it could be up to 7 depending on how fast you look through books).
ReplyDeleteI will be coming down to Oregon for the Supernatural tour so we can meet and talk about it then :) if you will be there (I hope so)
Not sure if you have read Alyson Noel's Evermore series, but she will be signing in Portland the day after the Supernatural tour.

See will then be in Seattle the day after, so now I need to decide do I stay in Portland for a day more or request Friday off and go to the signing, so many choices. I can't wait to get my books signed by her, I never thought I would.
Going to your blog to respond!
